After the meteorite suddenly rotated, the party became lost and separated within its caverns. The Coot wandered until he met Mortimer, an elf escaping captivity deeper inside. Together they discovered Surina trapped in a crystal and freed her by shattering it with the Coot’s terrible singing. Elsewhere, Paul Tree, Keohe, and Garjuk used a magic mirror to reunite with Bobby O’loid, and the group gathered again near the statue at the meteorite’s center, where they also met Mugu and his companion, Dr Brains. Along the way Bobby traded his Oloids to a dim boy named Sissy in exchange for a valuable opal. The party used the opal to open the chamber where Dr Brains had been imprisoned but Mugu suddenly betrayed them, stabbing the Old Coot and blocking the exit while Garjuk set traps around the room. The truth emerged: Dr Brains was actually an aboleth, a mind controlling creature from beyond the stars. Keohe and Mortimer fought it in the water while Surina worked to reopen the exit. Mugu’s illusions caused chaos, even tricking Keohe into fighting the wrong Dr Brains while the real one began draining Bobby’s memories. Eventually Garjuk regained control of himself and the party rallied, wearing the creature down until the Coot finished it with a decisive arrow. With the aboleth dead, the party now stands once again at the bottom of the meteorite victorious, but with many mysteries still waiting to be uncovered.
👀 Last week, the party faced a Beholder and survived the impossible! Paul Tree turned fear into triumph, Garjuk defied a 350ft fall, Tia shattered the mind controlling device, even as stone Ventus grappled the beast, and Keohe landed the final, earth shaking blow. They uncovered a mysterious meteorite that sprouted a giant beanstalk into the sky… but secrets remain. Hidden tunnels, a strange statue, an invisible man, and Ventus’ return to flesh await. ⚔️ Join the next session for the next chapter in our 2026 campaign!
🌌 The party delved deeper into the meteorite, and the weirdness escalated. They discovered Mikula, a monk of the Poison Hand, who transformed Mugu’s deadly poison into a healing salve. Meanwhile, Sir Dav and the Coot unearthed yeti-hide armour and a mammoth tusk longbow in the lower caverns. Deeper still, they met the enigmatic Dr Brains, who warned of strange lights, eerie noises, and an invisible stalker. A foe who could turn the party invisible too! Chaos erupted, allies collided, and only Garjuk’s quick thinking saved the day with Faerie Fire and healing. The chase led them to a balcony overlooking the meteorite’s hollow core… and a Beholder patrolling below. The adventure intensifies. Don’t miss the next session of our 2026 campaign!
Last week, the party finally found Grakkakok, the Thunder Lizard Wizard. Their only problem was that he couldn’t hear them - the brontosaurus’ head was 150ft above the ground, and he was locked in combat with a gargantuan spider! The party scaled the Wizard’s back as the two titans clashed, dodging lightning strikes and toxic webs to force the spider and her brood to retreat. The party is stronger than ever. After their successes against kobolds, spiders and dinosaurs, they’ve decided they’re ready to plunge the depths of the Meteorite. Looking forward to seeing you all at 6:30 Sunday when we find out what’s inside!
Last session, the party visited the meteorite and met Ravid the raptor, a seer who foresaw its fall and now holds it suspended above the earth. They discovered an entrance leading into a network of tunnels inside the meteorite but decided to deal with other matters first and split up. Magnus, Koehe, the Coot, and Bobby accompanied Sir Dav to the ruins of his brother Dicky’s wildlife park. What began as a pleasant spa visit quickly revealed the truth: the new ruler had once been part of Dicky’s wildlife exhibit but overthrew him and transformed the park into a disturbing human zoo. Meanwhile, Mugu, Ventus, Garjuk, and Flint went kobold hunting to recover their stolen belongings. They found a hidden entrance to the kobold warrens through a spider nest and barely survived the fight that followed—Mugu was nearly killed, and Garjuk actually died, only to wake again missing his heart (which soon fell out) but somehow still able to continue. Deeper in the warrens they encountered a strange creature with unusual magical influence that escaped before Garjuk could deal with it. In the kobolds’ treasure room they recovered Flint’s portrait, a healing potion, and a strange easel crafted from a spine. The group then fought through the chieftain’s hall, where Ventus led the attack and Garjuk held the rear while Mugu slipped through the tunnels to kill the fleeing chief and claim the green orb requested by Joraneen. With the orb in hand, Mugu realized Joraneen had already traveled farther east, crossing the Chasm of the Denisovans and heading onto the eastern glacier beyond the edge of the party’s map. Now the party must decide what to do next: explore the tunnels deep within the meteorite, follow Joraneen east to learn what she seeks, or continue north toward Avunder.
The party began the last session in Satellet, where they were celebrated for clearing the caves behind Meteorite Falls. They learned several travellers north of Sattelet had been attacked by monsters, and each had a different theory to what it was - trolls, a gold dragon, wererats. They decided to take the long way around and travelled to the obelisk east of Satellet. On the way, they met Joraneen, a powerful spellcaster who claimed to have been robbed by kobolds and had broken her arm. Having created the first ever contract a few sessions ago, Mugu was keen to show Joraneen his new invention and offered to retrieve what had been stolen. Unfortunately, he learned that when you live by the contract, you die by the contract! Joraneen laced their deal with a geas, a magical promise that forces Mugu to try to fulfil the contract or endure intense psychic pain. The party moved north, where they came across some velociraptors. While fighting the beautiful beasties, a fog descended, and both sides were attacked by kobolds! The kobolds stole Keohe’s neon sticks, the cat Socks, and an item very dear to Flint. Now, the party is faced with a choice of what to do next: will they track the kobolds to their lair and retrieve the stolen items, try to climb the meteorite to the north, or help Sir Dav find out what happened to his brother in the ruins of Fantastic Park? Looking forward to seeing what you all do on Sunday!
Howdy everyone, Looking forward to the next session! Last week, the party exploded the caves near Camset, and found the source of the flooding - the Alan-Melekey, giant frogs with forests on their backs who are said to have created all the rivers. Further up in the cliffs, another party climbed up through the gullet, where they found the source of the falling rocks - a kobold had trained some microraptors to throw rocks down on the people below, and trained at least one cliff racer to accept a rider. Both parties managed to overcome these foes, and made it to the top of the Meteorite Falls, where they saw the titular Meteorite hanging in the air, barely touching the frosted jungles of the plateau. To the west lie the ruins of Fantastic Park and the failed ambitions of Sir Dav’s brother, Dicky. To the east lies the fourth obelisk. To the north lies Avunder, their ultimate destination. Where will the party go next? I’ll see you on Sunday!
Hey everyone, Looking forward to the next session of our 2026 game! Last week, the party found someone had been painting strange symbols on the obelisks in the region, agreed to return something that was taken from the Denisovans, and learned the giant flying dinosaurs known as cliff racers have been more active lately - and experienced how dangerous they are first-hand! Now, the party has resolved to make it to the top of Meteorite Falls - but are they ready for the dangers they’ll meet on these cliffs? I’ll see you on Sunday when we find out whether the party can make it to the top!
Hey everyone, Get keen for the second session of the 2026 game! Last week, the party began their journey to Avunder by visiting the Fission Hole. There, they encountered a D’utpa, a large, salmon-like creature which guards the entrances to the underworld. It was far, far stronger than they’d expected, but through close teamwork they managed to prevail. Satisfied they were strong enough, the D’utpa decided to teach them the secrets of navigating through the Downunder, the realm which lies below the world. The party considered using these tunnels to reach Avunder, but ultimately decided there were still things they wanted to see on the surface, like the henge along the Pink River. Now, as the party turns north, they’ll need to navigate the Groves of the Denisovans to reach the henge and the Meteorite Falls. What will they find there? What dies the henge mean? And what is the relationship between the obelisks? Find out when I see you all this week!
